Summary

I have been working with tools and learning the trades from a very young age, as my Dad was a master mechanic and tradesman... that's where it started. I had top marks in Metal work and Mechanics in high school and after graduating, went directly to P.V.I. and did 1 year of training for machining. After that I did engine machining for a year at Competition Development Engine rebuild. Then was offered a job as a mechanic at Corvette Specialties Performance shop that I was with for 5 years. I was then offered a job with Overlanders Manufacturing (Metal Fab Shop) that I was with for 31 years. There, I improved my skills and worked my way up to Maintenance/Millwright, keeping the machines and plant running for many years. In 2020 my wife and I wanted to move up to the Okanagan. We sold our home in Abbotsford and moved up to Vernon as I got work at DCL Aviation, doing full restoration on GSE, where I'm at currently. I believe strongly in working hard and taking on the challenges of machinery. When I repair, rebuild, or restore, I find it extremely rewarding.
