Dear Folkway, it sounds wildly cliché to say I was excited to see your "help wanted' post on Instagram but that's exactly what happened. On a bachelor party with some buddies from school I said, "man, this shop in town is known across North America for their vintage guitars and their guitar craftsmanship."
Ever since I took up guitar, which was later in life than most, I have been obsessed with it. Having the opportunity to work with guitars and learn the inner workings of the instrument has been atop my list. Although I bring next to no experience to the role I have the ability to pick up things very quickly and a work ethic that will drive quick success if you give me the opportunity.
I have some experience in working with my hands as I've done a lot the work in renovating my house. Along with changing the strings to both my Yamaha acoustic and Gibson SG.
