i have been a certified volunteer judo referee for around a year now. with that i have gotten to ref at all different level of competition from little kids doing their first tournament to Provincials. from this I have learned lots about the sport that a normal competitor would never get the opportunity to.

Over the period of a few weeks I helped run summer camps at my Dojo. teaching kids from ages 5-12 the basics of judo as well as running other fun games and activities.

for two weeks at the Al Anderson memorial pool I Volunteered for the sharks program. during this program we got to help out as the lifeguards were teaching lessons. Learned some basic guarding skills, as well as learning what its like to "work" at a pool environment.
