I also handled the logistical side of the program, including meetings, workouts, game planning. I also was in charge of doing grade checks to ensure the overall success of the team. Student athletes were required to have a 2.5gpa in order to be eligible to play on any sports team.
Everyday Id come up with new strategies, practice, plays, rotations. Tuesdays and Thursday were game days so I was required to make sure athletes had rides to the away games. Parents were given a sign up paper for specific days/dates along with how many seats they have in their cars and I’d rotate the girls to ride with different people each time so that team bonding would take place and everybody was able to be around different teammates instead of the same ones each time.
