Savannah-Rae Thomas

As a teen volunteer during the WOW (World of Wonder) camp, I accompanied staff with activities and cleanup, came up with and facilitated activities and games for the kids to play and participate in, and assisted with watching over the children to ensure a safe environment.

During my 8th grade year at Edna Brewer Middle School, I assisted in moderate - severe special education classrooms, working with students with special needs, helping with activities that refines motor skills, and supporting in indoor and outdoor activities. With this, I also maintained safety by overseeing students in small groups.
