My experience for medical externship was amazing I learned so much. During my externship at tendercare pediatrics I've learned to schedule patients and even greet and or check the patients in as soon as they arrive , I would also take the patients co payment if they have one. I learned to vital patients such as take their blood pressure , temperature , height , weight , and even spo2 or vision and hearing test if needed. When taking their vitals I would always ask if the patient has a fever , cough , vomiting , diarrhea , if their on any medications or have any known allergies. Once I am done taking vitals I would then input it into the computer. During the times where we didn't have patients I would send out text reminders to the patients to schedule their appointments. I would also check the rooms to make sure there stocked with gloves , napkins , alcohol wipes , gauze , bandages , ear specula , tongue depressor , hand soap and even make sure there is enough medical table paper or even make sure the room is clean before the patient steps into the room. I was taught how to write excuse forms if the patient needed them.

• Assisted with patient intake processes, ensuring accurate data entry and documentation.
• Maintained cleanliness and organization of medical equipment and examination rooms.
• Conducted routine vital sign checks, recording measurements for physician review.
• Prepared exam and treatment rooms for patient visits, availing all necessary supplies and equipment.

Working at Stater brothers market my responsibilities were to greet the customers and bag up their groceries , after bagging the groceries if the customer needed help taking the groceries to their car I would Be sure to help them out. When I wasn't bagging groceries for customers I was outside collecting grocery carts from all around the parking lot and bringing them inside the store for the customers to grab as soon as they walk into the market. Some days I would sweep around the entire market 4 to 5 times a day to make sure there is no trash or spills on the floors. I would check the customer and employee restrooms to make sure everything is stocked up such as the toilet paper and hand hand soap.
