Dr. Ahmed is a committed medical professional who combines analytical thinking, cultural competence, and compassionate care across clinical, teaching, and research domains. She attained her undergraduate degree in Genetics and Biochemistry from Western University, and she advanced her academic endeavors by obtaining a Master of Science in Cellular and Molecular Medicine at the University of Ottawa. Her research, centered on breast cancer therapeutics, culminated in the publication of her master's thesis as the first author in 2018. Dr. Ahmed has extensive biomedical research experience in Canada; she received first place poster prize from SickKids Hospital in 2017. She made significant contributions to community health through active involvement in various volunteer programs and health campaigns.
