I worked in various areas of the hospital foundation which included, EVS, Food Servies, Ward Aid for Pediatrics and Labor and Delivery.

EVS duties included maintaining hospital areas and patient rooms by cleaning and disinfecting using proper cleaning chemicals and procedures.

Food Services duties included serving patients meals, meal preparation and proper food handing and safety.

Ward Aid duties included setting up patients rooms insuring new mothers and children were comfortable and had what they needed at all times to ensure a comfortable stay. Running lab reports. Keeping inventory stocked and organized. Cleaning equipment, toys and laundry in the NICU.

Hospital employees also have to keep up to date on various diseases and illnesses and proper protocol.

Also update on respect in the workplace for public and other workers as well as confidentiality and privacy act.

CPR and First Aid course were taken.

Proper use of Fire Extinguishers.

Food Safety Course taken.
