As I approach the completion of my Ontario Graduate Certificate in Addictions and Mental Health, complemented by a Bachelor in Behavioural Science, I bring a decade of experience in empathic communication and establishing safe environments for open discussions. I am known for my personable nature, positive attitude, and ability to build rapport with clients, enhancing team dynamics and client satisfaction. Driven by empathy and resilience, I am keen to apply these skills in a placement setting, aiming to contribute significantly to client well-being and the broader field of mental health and addictions.
In my role at Monarch House, one of my proudest achievements was forging genuine and meaningful rapport with clients. Recognizing the diverse interests in Arts and Sciences, I innovatively designed fun and engaging activities. These not only bolstered client engagement but also created an atmosphere where learning and enjoyment went hand in hand. This approach was instrumental in enhancing the overall educational experience for our students.
