Job Description:

• Working in partnership/collaboration with school support staff, administration, teachers, resource, parents/guardians and the school community.
• Communicating with parents/guardians both in-person and virtual.
• Working with student support teams of diverse student needs, with Individualized Education Plans and English Language Learner support plans.
• Responding to a diverse set of student needs, both academically and social-emotionally.
• Reflecting on my practice and having a growth mindset.
• Responding to student behavior and helping students engage in positive conflict resolution practices.
• Creating an inclusive and safe space for students to feel accepted, appreciated and heard.
• Valuing and recognizing the diverse cultures, families, and beliefs in my classroom.
