Community Service

I took charge of the Soap for Hope campaign at my elementary school, which aimed to help people who couldn't afford basic hygiene products. It was a project close to my heart because I believe in the power of kindness and lending a hand to those in need. Starting Soap for Hope at West Bay Elementary brought me immense joy because it meant we could ease the burden of those who have to choose between hygiene essentials and food.  Teaming up with my older brother, we launched the shoe box project in our school. Together, we wanted to make a positive impact and show our peers what true service means. The result of our efforts was incredibly rewarding. Not only did we feel fortunate and accomplished, but we also made a difference in our community by giving back.  Our entire school got together and raised 1,931 hygiene items to support those in need. It was a wonderful example of the power of teamwork and compassion.

Since a young age, I have dedicated my time every Friday and Saturday to volunteer at my local mosque, where I serve as a team lead. In this role, I work with individuals spanning from children to seniors, collaborating on various tasks such as setting up food, decorating the mosque, brainstorming upcoming events, and contributing to the overall betterment of our community.
