  • I have provide expertise and advice and support and assist the Director Resource Management in consultation on land and resource planning issues and on three top- most priority strategic projects for the Northeastern BC, namely, Peace Northern Caribou (PNCP) Plan implementation, Cumulative Effects
  • I was also the Project Manager (Oct 2014- Oct 2015) for the development of the Moose Management Plan for the Peace Region under the BC-SFN wildlife management term sheet agreement;
  • Until recently, (Oct 2016) one of the two provincial representatives on the BC-Treaty 8 Wildlife Stewardship Board
  • My responsibilities included
  • Consulting with First Nations and stakeholders on wildlife applications applied for under the Wildlife Act
  • Representing public interests in wildlife for the Wildlife Collaborative Management Agreement
  • Collaborating with Treaty 8 First Nation representatives to formulate consensus recommendations on wildlife applications
  • Coordinating and participating in the evaluation and development of strategic policy frameworks and other initiatives that establish the regulatory and legislative direction of the ministry;
  • Developing and maintaining a planned network of relationships with First Nations and stakeholders and uses this network in the development of policy and legislation by identifying key stakeholder interests and issues and applying an interest-based approach to resolving any conflicts or sensitive issues;
  • Researching, developing and writing clear and concise technical guides, presentations, executive summaries, briefing materials etc
  • Developing proposals, business cases and cost-benefit analyses, defining and managing project deliverables, assessing progress and taking/recommending corrective action;
