Summary

As Section Head of Acute Care Consultation and emergency Psychiatry I manage a busy access and flow service with Provincial beds. I also run the Short stay unit for challenging needs inpatients who are at risk to self or others.

As an Assistant Professor in Psychiatry with strong academic background in higher education. I have a proven track record of developing and delivering engaging course materials that enhance student learning. Currently I am a Course Director on the Psychiatry Masters Program. I have demonstrated effective communication and research skills that contribute to academic excellence over the years.

I currently have 2 ongoing research projects involving EDIA and Long term injection use and attitudes to Seclusion policy for inpatients.
