  • Administrative Responsibilities: In addition to most of the above-mentioned responsibilities, I have been able to submit the new fiscal year budget for the department. I have been organizing the department’s annual contracts for the current year's purchase orders and processing invoices for payment of bills. I monitor all department POs to ensure they are current and closed when possible. I reconcile my own P-Card purchases and assist in the ED’s P-Card and AmEx transactions and statements.
  • Volunteer Assistance/Coordination Experience: In my role as the Senior Administrative Assistant, of the Communications and Media Relation Department, I was able to step in and assist during city events such as HalGLOWeen, Merry Main Street, Frisco Freedom Fest, and Town Hall Meetings. Some of the responsibilities have been to check in volunteers, set up and tear down events, communicate with other departments during the planning process, and sign off on volunteer hours when the coordinator was out of the office. Helped direct incoming volunteers on how to sign up for volunteer positions in the online system. Am familiar with and have navigated some parts of the Better Impact online volunteer system.

I posted all agendas and minutes for each board meeting in the city’s system of records. Created monthly reports for budget planning and board reports. Arranged tours of neighboring cities highlights for the Board Members of Visit Frisco. Processed all purchase orders, release orders, and change orders.
  • Volunteer Assistance/Coordination Responsibilities : While at the Visit Frisco office, I coordinated volunteers to come in regularly for the Marketing/Communication team to get information packaged, processed, and distributed. Also, I coordinated registration clerks for coverage at local conferences at the Convention Center for the various groups brought into Frisco by the Sales Managers at VF. Helped to set up and check in volunteers at the annual Volunteer Appreciation Event in 2019 for the COF.
