A typical work day could include any or several of the below:

• Meet clients to discuss requirements for projects.
• Conduct research and collaborate with subject matter experts to develop accurate and effective learning content.
• Provide learning solutions that can make training engaging and directly impact the company's productive efficiency
• Create learning objectives and finalize scope docs for modules
• Prepare blueprints and sequence documents
• Provide coaching and mentoring to content developers.
• Create detailed storyboards with On-screen text, Decision Points, and Knowledge Checks
• Take overall responsibility for quality of project until it is delivered to the client.
• Apply Instructional Design theories relating to Adult theories to content
• Work on Web-based training, VILT/PPTs, and Facilitator Guides
• Edit and proofread all deliverables, maintaining a high standard of grammar and style consistency.

• Worked extensively on a major real-estate e-learning course. Real Estate Council of Ontario (RECO) for the Ontario government.
• Much of my work involved collaboration with subject matter experts and designers in creating content and presenting it in a user-friendly manner.
• The project demanded a high level of accuracy and the use of appropriate tone, voice, and style. The job allowed me to interact with skilled writers, designers, and subject matter experts which broadened my own learning.
