Chemical and biological laboratory technician:

• Apply Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) for documentation, safe conduct, handling hazardous materials, and accountability as a set of standard behaviors to abide by in the field
• Experienced in many techniques and working with laboratory equipments including, UV-Vis and infrared spectrophotometry, Classical column chromatography, High Pressure Liquid Chromatography, Gas Chromatography, refractometers, colorimetry
• Performing quality control test on raw materials, in-process samples and finished products while following GMP
• Making compressed tablets by following the tablet manufacturing directions (weighing, sieving, blending, milling, granulation, compression), including setting up the tablet press and performing start-up test, developing tablet formulation and manufacturing process and suggesting possible solutions for tablet imperfections
• Experienced in buffer preparation, titration, centrifugation, electrophoresis and microscopy
• Knowledgeable in analytical methods to identify, characterize and purify organic compounds and micro-organisms

• Skilled in preparing solutions, dilutions, bacterial cultured, growth medias and stained specimens
