Dynamic and adaptable, I honed leadership and organizational skills at Chevy Chase Recreational Center, leading activities and ensuring safety. At Vartan Ter Poghossian, DDS, I excelled in maintaining sterile environments, showcasing my attention to detail and ability to quickly learn. My experience demonstrates a strong foundation in both interpersonal communication and effective workspace management.
As a CIT (Counselor-in-Training) at summer camp, I assisted senior counselors with various tasks. I helped lead activities like games, crafts, and nature walks, and supervised campers to ensure they were safe and having fun. I also participated in training sessions where I learned important skills like leadership, communication, and safety. While I wasn’t fully in charge, I gained hands-on experience working with kids and prepared for a future role as a full counselor.
In the doctor’s office, I use a variety of cleaning supplies to ensure the space stays clean, sterile, and safe. I use disinfectants, cleaning wipes, and sprays to sanitize surfaces like exam tables, countertops, and waiting areas. I pay extra attention to high-touch areas like door handles, light switches, and medical equipment, using antibacterial solutions to kill germs. I also wear personal protective equipment (PPE), like gloves and masks, to avoid cross-contamination while cleaning. For medical waste, I use designated trash bags and biohazard containers to dispose of it safely. Keeping everything clean and sanitized is crucial to maintaining a safe environment for both patients and staff.

Science Olympiad Participation:
As a member of my school’s Science Olympiad team, I collaborated with peers to prepare for various STEM events. Our team, comprising up to 15 students, engaged in building projects, conducted research, and participated in competitions that tested our scientific knowledge and skills.
Cross Country Achievements:
In cross country, I secured first place in the Central Valley League Finals held on November 7, 2024, at Pierce College. This achievement reflects my dedication to training and passion for the sport.
Balancing the rigorous demands of Science Olympiad and cross country has honed my time management skills and deepened my appreciation for both intellectual and physical pursuits.
