OVERVIEW OF EXPERIENCE

  • Branch wiring in new buildings, renovations and service calls. Including but not limited to underground and overhead services, rough wiring and finishing in residential and commercial buildings.
  • Testing single phase and three phase equipment and components for continuity, current and voltage values, competent use of various testing apparatus for testing and troubleshooting electrical systems.
  • Interpret schematics and blueprints, red lining and as-builts, walkdowns, job planning, completing daily field hazard risk assessments and job safety assessments, assessing and completing deficiency punch lists. Quality assurance and quality control.
  • Placement, installation and terminations of transformers, fittings and enclosures, cabinets and panels, motor control centers, battery banks, power distribution centers, motor operated valves, PLCs, instruments, switch gears and variable frequency drives and motors/pumps.
  • Grounding and bonding, ground grids, substation fencing, ground rods and plates, ground mats, grounding of infrastructure and piles.
  • Termination of power, instrument and control cables. Extra low, low and medium voltage electrical system terminations, fire alarm systems, termination of wide variety of electrical equipment.
  • Cable pull, cable entry, glanding cables, cable tray installation and modification. Running, bending and threading rigid conduit of all sizes. Fabrication and installation of brackets and anchoring into different surface material.
