Samantha Gagné

Moncton,NB

Summary

I am currently finishing my 4th year of a bachelors degree of nursing. Throughout these last four years, I've had the opportunity to experience many different specialty units. In a clinical setting I've worked on rehabilitation, oncology, psychiatric, pediatric, nephrology, general medicine, and general surgery. During these clinical rotations I've learned to asses my patient completely and efficiently, safely administer medications, critically think and plan my day efficiently, adapt my approach to curate to each patients needs and create therapeutic relationships.

I've also worked as a patient care attendant in the emergency room at the moncton city hospital for the past 2 years. This position has taught me to deal with fast pace care and unexpected changes during my shifts. I've learned how to stay calm in high stress critical care situations.

I've grown very passionate about nursing and providing the best possible care for patients. I love to learn and will always accept constructive criticism. I am very excited to start what is hopefully a long and successful career.
