Projects:


  • 1. Howell Reservoir Demo - Project consisted of demoing 2 large non-active water tanks. Led a crew of 4 individuals in safely dismantling the tanks from an ariel lift, and also safely disposing of it once it was brought down. This project was slated to take 6-8 weeks, but it was successfully completed in 4 weeks.
  • 2. I was tasked with the installation of a new hydrant run in a busy road way in the city of Corona. The job consisted of cutting in a 12" tee and trench 80' across the roadway. This job required extensive traffic control prior to any work being done. Followed safe traffic control protocols to ensure the safety of the crews working in the roadway. This project was completed ahead of schedule without compromising the safety of the crews.
  • 3. I was tasked with working along side a contractor while they made repairs on a 36" water distribution line. I ensured that throughout the project, safety measures were being followed. Such methods include proper shoring, pipe installations per district standards, and material acquisition. The project went well into the night and at the end of the job, everything was successful and completed in a safe manner.
  • 4. I was tasked with visiting a vendor for a new vactor truck the construction department is working on acquiring. I was able to visit the site with other district staff and providing feedback, we were able to decide on the correct truck for our department. Having the field experience, I was able to determine what would keep our crews safe and make the work load more manageable.
