The Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce also known as CIBC is embarking on an initiative to revamp applications for Identity and Access Management, Vulnerability Detection and Management, Log Management, Fraud Detection and & Prevention to make the Bank’s processes more robust from Cyber Threats.

• Managed multiple projects involving Identity and Access Management (Sailpoint), Application Security Remediation Reporting Strategy (Ms Azure).
• Developed project plans that included timelines and deliverables, identified resources needed, and estimated costs for each project.

CIBC (Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce) is embarking on an initiative to revamp applications for Big Data Management Model- one stop platform to perform all data analysis across LIne of Business in the Bank. The focus of the project is to modernize the existing application to a futuristic Cloud based IT Architecture – with the focus to provide agility to the business to continually adapt to the changing business requirements.

• Managing multiple mid to large scale projects from conception to completion, ensuring all deadlines were met.
• Developing a project-level implementation plan to achieve business case for implementing ingestion/ consumption projects into Ms Azure environment EDGE framework while defining timelines for all project phases.
• Sharing Weekly Project Status Reports to all stakeholders.
• Connecting with Business Teams to finalize the data requirements, alignment to Consumer aligned / Source aligned Data Product. Review with Technology Architecture Teams and Coordinating with Core Dev team to finalize the implementation plan.
• Discussion with CIBC Directors, Data Governance, Data Client Strategy and Management, Technology Teams and other stakeholders on strategic aspect of the application/tool implementation and define scope of the overall engagement.

Managed large-scale migration project wherein the Bank's goal was to decommission the existing product used for sending alerts to its customers via Text/SMS/Email etc and migrate to an in-house application. In addition to saving to saving licensing and product support cost, it also lead to better control over the Alerting Mechanism and Business Processes.

• Supportcentral is a Business Process Management Tool and professional networking platform internal to General Electric (GE), which provides sophisticated means for GE employees to connect to one another through their personal profile page, as well as communicate expertise. Adhoc Reports is one specific module of Supportcentral wherein users can connect to different database types to create reports in various formats and to schedule reports multiple times. It is also used to push data to external databases.

The daily clips are analyzed, prioritized, ranked & published by a News administrator. The published news are shown on the Corporate Home Page which is an integral part of the Inside GE portal.

GE Security.com was customer facing application to market its products for US based customers. This was a complex application which used various specialized tools like SAP MDM, Vignette Portal and vignette content management.

Responsibilities Included -

• Gathered requirements from clients and suggest them solutions using J2EE and vignette capabilities.
• Effort Estimation, Planning of the various cycles and work distribution.
• Worked as Java/Vignette Developer in the team.
