· Involved in preparing the field, collecting plant samples from field/greenhouse, taking measurements of plant morphological character including length, diameter, breaking strength.

· Receive, sort, clean, and scan seed samples for further investigation,

· Seed germination count, chemical preparation, tissue storage in cold storage/freezer

· Preparing pots, executing harvesting and threshing of seed samples.

· Data entry in software, analyzing data, recording results.

· Assisting other lab members, undergraduate students and post doctoral fellows regarding the molecular protocols followed in Lab and growing practices in green house.

· Conceptualizing and executing research projects according to standardized operating procedures (SOPs).

· Preparing invitro and invivosamples using different solvents for antioxidant assays.

· DNA/RNA isolation/ extractions, Biochemical analysis of samples via spectroscopic techniques such as HPLC, Visible and UV spectroscopes.

· Preparation of media for bacterial cultures and cancer cell lines. Preparing samples for flow cytometry using cancer cells.

· Pharmacological and toxicological investigation of isolated plant compounds.

· Recording detailed test results, compilation of the data and preparing reports using graphs, charts and other modern tools.

· Implementation of statistical tools to the studied parameters.

· Managed administrative duties as assigned including maintenance of records.

· Contributed to scientific reports and presented findings at conferences.
