I believe to be an enthusiastic, dedicated and hard-working person with hands-on experience. I am a strong communicator and team player, eager to learn. I gained a lot of experience from working in different situations with various groups of people which helped me develop my critical thinking and problem solving skills.
I completed a minimum of 30 hours of volunteering during my high school. My different experiences included volunteering at old age homes, helping children make christmas cards, volunteering at a soup kitchen and participating in different climate protests.
In high school, I was chosen to help younger students struggling with the english language. I had to help them get up to date with the class material and revise concepts they learned during the week.
I was chosen and am currently enrolled in an English course for tutors, where I tutor students at my college for any type of help related to the english language including writing assignments, reading assignments, etc.
I am currently part of a Leadership program at my college called Flip. The club encourages the members to take initiative and start projects. A project I am leading involves writing letters to elders in old age homes for the holidays.
