• Performing physical examinations, diagnostics tests, treatments and surgical procedures on companion animals while adhering to all applicable state laws regarding the practice of veterinary medicine.
• Developing strong relationship with clients through excellent communication and customer service skills

• Run diagnostics as well as preparing lab requisitions, collecting blood and urine samples, setting and performing radiographic studies, placing IV catheter, setting up fluid administration systems, preparing animal for surgical procedures, anesthesia monitoring and post op care.

• Performing the initial evaluation of animal condition and communicating with pet owners regarding pet diagnosis, prognosis and treatment
• Taking Xrays and Laboratory samples and interpreting the results.
• Performing soft tissue surgeries like neuter, spaying etc

Hands-on Training on General Anesthesia, Ovario-hysterectomy and Castration.

Collecting urine, blood and other body fluids for laboratory tests and interpreting the results, treat sick or injured animals by prescribing medication, handling duties such as taking appointments and preparing pets for surgeries.

Six months Rotating Large and Small Animal Internship at the Veterinary Teaching Hospital
