My duties were:

Assisting with bathing, dressing, and overall hygiene
- Preparing meals and ensuring the patient ate regularly and well
- Reminding her to take medications on time and monitoring for any side effects
- Helping her with mobility, including walking several times a day to improve circulation
and keep her legs active
- Supporting with transportation within the home - such as moving her safely from
bed to chair and to other areas of the house
- Assisting her in getting ready for bedtime and ensuring she was safe and comfortable
- Offering emotional support, patience, and consistent companionship
