I am a creative cake decorator with over 4 years of professional experience. I incorporate my art skills into my decorating. I have taken art courses throughout my life and have even taken courses on fine art. I am very comfortable in a bakery. I am very motivated and have pride in my work. I can easily do cake orders. If there any techniques I am not familiar with I am easily trained. I have also done a lot of cake decorating on my own. I have made many cakes for birthdays and have made cakes for weddings and other various celebrations. I also make cupcakes and have made some for weddings. I am reliable and can easily work with anyone. I have mixed everything in the bakery I work at from scratch breads to icings. I use the oven constantly. We use scales and various tools to setup and prepare product. I love working in a bakery, it's what I'm meant to do.

I had to decorate cakes for orders and for the cake case. I followed order directions to customize cakes. I took orders over the phone and in person. I often gave recommendations to customers and answered questions they had. I also prepared other baked goods such as bread, cookies and pastries. I wrapped products quickly and put them tables while rotating dates. (First in First Out) I also did setup for the next day. We always sanitized the department throughout the day would clean the entire bakery at night. I was proficient on a register and I kept a constant fast pace. Customers would tell me how fast I was getting them through the line. I always make sure I do not sacrifice quality while being efficient.

I was a cake decorator at Cake Art Studio. I had to make my own icings/mousses/fillings. I had to follow the requests on cake orders. I took orders over the phone and in person. I also dealt with the cancellation of orders. We often used birthday kits that had figurines and other decorations to place on top of the cake. I sometimes placed edible printed paper on top of cakes. I always maintain safety by washing and sanitizing all of our utensils, tools and the counters. I also helped customers with product in our display case. We offered slices of pie, full pies for sale, various pastries, and cakes in the case. I answered phone calls and also made announcements.
