12 weeks of pre-grad clinical at St.Joesephs women's and babies floor, acting in the role of the Registered Nurse providing care to antenatal clients, postpartum women, postpartum women who have experienced a loss and neonates. I have gained a wide variety of skills during this clinical such as, antenatal assessments, fetal heart tone monitoring, postpartum hemorrhage care, newborn assessments, newborn bloodwork and screening, glucose testing for newborn, assisting mother and baby with breastfeeding/latching, feeding plans and health teaching regarding postpartum care and newborn care at home.
