Sadie Diaz

• Tutor students in graders Kinder through 6th grade in academic subjects of Math and Language Arts weekly.

• Assist Special Education (Sped) students with behavioral challenges.
• Identifying and working with students to achieve daily tasks by utilizing best practices behavior practices.
• Maintain a behavior log as part of an established Behavior Intervention Plan (BIP) by monitoring maladaptive behaviors and record observations per the structured behavior forms.
• Assist Resource Specialist teacher (RSP), Occupational Therapist (OT), Adaptive Physical Education provider (APE), and Behavior Interventionist (BI) by implementing curriculum, strategies, and educational supports in a one-on-one setting that the providers have identified as appropriate interventions.
• Communicate with parents regarding student’s successes and challenges at the end of the day when picked up.
• Participate as a member of the Sped team in preparation for meetings with providers and case managers.
