I am a 43 year old woman that has a fairly unique life compared to a lot of people. Moving around so much when I was younger taught me how to think outside of the box and pave my own path in life. This is why I became a business owner ten years ago. I wanted to be in charge of my own destiny, and had to create a job that worked around my need to be at home.
I suffer from Fibromyalgia, which isn't a good fit for traditional jobs that require me to leave my home and have some level of physical demands (such as standing all day). I excel working from home because even on a 'bad day' I can still focus, and make modifications for myself depending on what my needs are, in order to get my work done efficiently.
I also am a part-time caretaker for my mother who suffers from Trigeminal Neuralgia - a horrible and chronic pain condition.
Despite the uniqueness of my life, and the challenges of it in later years, I seem to take what life throws at me and turn it in to motivation and and even bigger hunger to succeed.
