- City Heights Prep Charter is a school for grades 6th-12th, with a heavy emphasis on college preparation and integration of technology. Their student body primarily consists of children from immigrant families and and from low-income communities in San Diego, CA.
- I began my volunteer work at City Heights Prep Charter as a requirement for a course on border politics, but quickly felt captivated by motivation from the students and made it priority for myself to continue to consistently attend their volunteer sessions.

- At Harumama, my main expectations are to greet our customers in a polite and inviting manner, and bring them to their seats.
- I also manage many other side tasks which consist of overall restaurant cleanliness and organization, running entree's out to their designated tables, answering all phone calls, bussing tables and occasionally taking orders.
- The team has an understanding of my prioritization for academics and will only expect my presence when I have the time outside of professional commitments. I find that having a part-time job apart from school not only benefits my life financially, but also forces me to structurally manage a heavy workload.

- I have known for a long time I wanted to study abroad, so when accepted into Sciences Po, I knew it was something that I had to do. I was able to gain an understanding of global politics from a perspective that one cannot obtain in solely The United States, and I will forever be grateful for it.
- On top of rigorous academic expectations, I experienced new foreign culture from the 5 different countries I was able to visit, giving me an entire new perspective on European customs.
