Development and event planning has been my focus at NAMI Sonoma County. Increasing awareness of NAMI's free services and programs being a top priority. I was hired to organize and secure individual donations and corporate sponsorships for NAMI Sonoma County's first fundraising event, NAMIWalks, on October 7, 2023. We doubled our fundraising goal, with 5 sponsors, 2 in-kind sponsors, over 200 participants, 24 teams, along with 17 corporate partners tabling to share information on their services..

  • Designed, organized, and executed 50th Anniversary Gala at San Francisco's acclaimed deYoung Museum with private access to renowned glass sculptor Dale Chihuly's sold-out exhibition.
  • Planned all facets of special events: annual golf tournament - volunteer scheduling, registration, lunch, dinner, silent auction, raffle, and fund-the-need; annual donor appreciation luncheon; cultivation events; and open houses.
  • Expanded donor appeals by segmented approach targeting lapsed, current, and prospective donors - tripling the appeal return.
  • Partnered with the California Highway Patrol to bring the Every 15 Minutes Program to local high schools in Marin County, CA for an intensive two-day enactment illustrating the high - at times fatal - risks associated with drinking and driving. Managed therapeutic support for students and their families during this highly emotional program.
  • Designed all marketing materials for the promotion of Ohlhoff's programs using: brochures, email blasts, newsletters, direct mail, special event materials, banners, and website redesign.
  • Managed a grant writer, development coordinator, and various volunteers.
  • Implemented and utilized eTapestry donor database.
