Ryusei Nakano

I graduated from Keio University, Faculty of Environment and Information Studies where I was a member of a laboratory specializing in the development of highly maneuverable drones and video editing. Armed with overwhelming logical thinking ability, quantitative analytical skills, and leadership, I have been involved in a wide range of activities beyond the boundaries of being a student.

I have a strong interest in startups and entrepreneurship based on my experience as a long-term intern at an entrepreneurial and VC firm, and I would like to apply advanced technologies such as high-mobility drones and AI in the real world to create a more prosperous society. I hope to study data analysis and computer science in graduate school to become an entrepreneur who can create a significant impact on the world.

Sports

• Karate - Learned Kyokushin Karate, one of the most prestigious styles, for six years and earned a black belt (2013)
• Soccer - Served as defensive leader and placed in the top 32 in the national tournament for college soccer clubs (2020)

• I run a YouTube channel called "Sushi Ramen Riku" with a childhood friend. As a member, we have been active for 8 years since 2015 and have grown it to the 7th largest YouTube channel in Japan (7.33 million channel subscribers). • In March 2020, I co-founded the YouTube channel "Lives with an Idol" with a high school classmate and grew it to 700K subscribers in two and a half years as an advisor and data analyst. This growth rate ranked in the top 10 among channels in the entertainment domain in Japan last year.
