After undergoing Class 1 MELT Training for a trucking license returned to a previous employer to garner some experience driving.

Additional duties included:

• Operated with safety and skill to avoid accidents and delays.
• Demonstrated safe driving by following regulations and safety procedures, resulting in zero accidents.
• Maintained daily, legible log book and submitted corresponding documents.
• Completed regular inspections and maintenance of equipment and vehicles, as well as basic equipment repairs, to keep equipment operating without fail.
• Maximized load safety by balancing, securing and checking loads as trips progressed.
• Dropped and hooked trailers and changed configuration of equipment.
• Transported Hazardous Material under proper regulations in regards to paper work and decaling.
• Operate Class 3 vehicles as needed, including Hyrdovac's, water trucks, and other triaxial vehicles.
• Occasionally did confined space entry to help with labour.

June 2019 I procured a position with a Utility Locating company that safeguards underground infrastructure for Gas, Power and Telecommunications.

My duties included:

• Safe and lawful operation of company vehicles
• Clear communication with clients, colleagues and contractors.
• Concise and accurate paperwork detailing what I located and their proximity area of work.
• Maintained my own vehicle to and from my house as well as seeing to regular scheduled maintenance.
• Applied problem solving skills to circumvent field issues with little access to support and help.
• Complied with safety protocols dictated by COVID-19 as well as long standing safety procedures.
• Remaining punctual in time restrains and deadlines by working overtime as needed.
• Received and implemented new policies and evolving guidelines for paperwork for locating set forth by client or employer.
• Acted as intermediate between Contractors and Utility Owners.
• Reliably acted as On-call Responder to afterhours Emergencies.

After an untimely layoff from Gemini I began to flexibly looking for meaningful employment throughout Alberta.

With no real prospects in electrical I opened my job at which time I was employed as a labourer for Wilco.

The following is a list of my responsibilities:

• Actively participated in safety meetings, identified and mitigated hazards as work progressed
• Properly read schematics provided by city of Calgary for planting of trees and shrubs as well as location of utilities and other subterranean hazards
• Planted trees and shrubs quickly and efficiently according to planning and quotas
• Conducted safety checks as well as operated machine's safely and implemented controls for hazards prior to work start.

December 2017 moved back to Alberta from BC with promise of work as a labourer in a Mod Yard.

Company went into receivership and I was inevitably laid off in August 2018.

The following is a list of my responsibilities during my employment:

• Conducted and documented hazard assessments prior to work being done and when scope of work changed updating hazard controls as work developed.
• Gained working knowledge of parts and material as well as appropriate installation and assembly of various parts for construction of mods for oil field prefabrication , Including but not limited to: Setting up and Breaking down pipe for hydro tests, Heat Trace Installation (EHT, SRT), Cable Pulls, Instrumentation, Ty Wrapping
• Took initiative to learn fundamentals of panel work as well as quality control with point to point assessments of Instruments, lights etc.
• Helped maintain time restrictions through overtime and adapting to changing priorities, even going so far as working alone to optimize use of personnel, sometimes with little to no supervision
• Maintained own time card to keep adequate record of daily work

Worked as Locksmith in shop updating records for enhance security buildings, cutting keys, installing deadbolts and rekeying locks for building managers and private residence. Passed comprehensive security background check to acquire Locksmith License.

Worked as landscaper at Calgary Zoo. Maintaining animal enclosures and public area's and even doing regular trips to Zoo's orchard to harvest feed for Giraffes.

Enlisted in Canadian Armed Forces and completed Basic Military Qualifications and underwent Infantry Developmental Period 1, before being given counsel to find military trade to assist in reintegration into civilian life. After many unsuccessful attempts to Occupational Transfer opted to release from military to pursue trades in Civilian life.
