Work History

Equestrian & Volunteer

Kings Meadow Equestrian Centre

Horses have been a passion since summer of 2020, where I began to take lessons as well as engaging with the animals and helping out.

From then I consistently took lessons and volunteered each weekend until joining Kings Meadow, where I continue to do so, and take private lessons as a part of the competitive team. My volunteer work includes preparing horses for lessons, engaging with young student riders and parents, barn maintenance, and preparing/ maintaining things like hay and water. 2024 is my second season in the Angelstone Silver Series, and I have some past experience at small on-property shows. At Angelstone I am grateful to be able to lease the horse I consistently ride, where I learn the responsibilites of doing so, I gain experience, enjoy our bonding time, and use my skills.

Youth Leadership Camp & Summer Camp Volunteer

Forward Church

In 2021 I completed Forward's two week Youth Leadership Camp and learnt basic leadership to prepare for potential future work and to improve my skills. I also helped with kids from grades Kindergarten to six with tasks like assisting in games and activities along with the campers.

Babysitter

Neighbours & Family Friends

Baby-sat kids up to age 6, for up to 4 hours. Came up with activities, prepared meals, as well as tidying up. 2022-present.

Pianist

Private Lessons & Kiwanis Festival

I have been playing piano and doing lessons each week since 2018 for personal enjoyment as well as a hobby, and it is currently something I continue spending time moving up in. In the past two years I competed in the KW Kiwanis Festival as a soloist, as something to put work into.

Gauss Contestant

St Andrews Senior Public School

In the year 2022 and 2023 I took the opportunity to participate in the Gauss Contest (CEMC), where both years I ranked in the top 25% of contestants and received a certificate of distinction. I enjoyed working through new challenges and problem solving through questions.
