Summary
A long career means my resume has left out some things for the sake of relevancy to Early Childhood Education, like Blockbuster Video (2005), Shaw Cable (2013), and Bancroft Brewing (2019). My interest in problem-solving and my desire to help others built meaningful relationships with people during my jobs. My work with Games Workshop in 2015 helped me understand I could be so much more to children. I am a kind, energetic, thoughtful person with experience in classroom management, educator support and goal-based planning. I respect the role-modelling position an adult male can have in the early childhood education sector, and I am always looking to learn from both my team and the kids.

- Personally launched a brand new retail store in December 2015, to a wildly successful operation selling plastic models, games and hobby supplies. Store was incredibly profitable and I won multiple awards.

- Frequently would work with members of the community and children, teaching them how to paint, play games, and comfortably develop social skills, leading to sales success.
- Built relationships with parents and their children by bridging the gap for both and facilitating an understanding of why their kids liked the hobby

- I have strong references from the parents and children (who are now young adults) from this store which got me my job with North Hastings Children's Services.
