Grounds Maintenance: Operate mowers and other equipment and tools for purposes of cutting grass, trimming trees and shrubs, and planting and transplanting flowers, bulbs, shrubs and trees.

Storm Prevention Maintenance: Assist in cleaning ditches, culverts and storm drains.

Street Maintenance: Assist in repainting of pavement markings, basic pothole and street repair; installation and repair of street signs and markers; mixing and application of Class III pesticide materials.

Vehicle/Equipment Maintenance: Assist in the care, maintenance and cleaning of vehicles, tools and equipment.

General: Contact residents concerning maintenance and service problems; refer complaints and requests to proper supervisory personnel. Assist supervisory personnel in preparing and maintaining proper records and logs. Build and maintain positive working relationships with co-workers, other City employees and the public using principles of good customer service.

• Hauling away various objects from Homeowners Associations, such as garbage, beds, couches, furniture, etc.
• Installation and replacement of lights and photocells, as well as doing light checks at night within HOA communities
• Inspection, fixing, and replacement of fences
• Inspecting roofs and gutters to make sure they aren’t clogged, and cleaning them if necessary
• Painting buildings, fire hydrants, and curbs within HOA communities
• Building and fostering relationships with stakeholders, contractors, and members of communities while maintaining the utmost level of professionalism

• Maintain the physical condition of the community by completing service requests, repairs, and preventative maintenance in a timely manner, ensuring all work meets company standards and that vacant units are prepared and turn-key ready
• Diagnoses and repairs problems in such areas as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, major appliances, carpentry, emergency systems, flooring, hardware accessories, masonry, painting/wallpaper, water features (pools, spas, etc.), and waste management systems

• Performs general maintenance and repair of District buildings, property grounds, and vehicles using a variety of hand and power tools and equipment
• Prepares, assists with, and completes a variety of basic maintenance project work that includes but is not limited to: carpentry, cement, painting, groundskeeping, and vehicle and equipment servicing and minor repairs. This also includes assisting other skilled maintenance mechanics, electrical/instrumentation technicians, collection system workers, and warehouse personnel to goal completion
• Conducts regular safety inspections, thorough cleanings, as well as accurate routine servicing and maintenance checks on vehicles, emergency equipment, tools, and property in a timely fashion
• Administratively participates in preparing and presenting reporting and recommendations for improvements, as well as always ensuring proper inventory of supplies and materials needed for work orders
• Participates in teams engaged with process and customer service improvements, cross-training, and team evaluations, where we strive for growth and excellence

• Conducting quality assurance field inspections on East Bay MUD’s Water Meter Assets
• Installing zinc anodes per the specified requirement on all meters with copper service lines
• Validating and reporting house water line materials to East Bay MUD
• Immediate reporting of hazardous conditions during inspection through the Collector application for remediation by utility-trained employees
• Performing thorough and extremely accurate field inspections to ensure East Bay MUD’s customer safety and risk is paramount

• Responsible for conducting quality assurance field inspections on PG&E’s Gas Meter Assets
• When AOC (Abnormal Operating and Atmospheric Corrosion) conditions, such as bent gas service risers, buried service valves, and gas meter protection, are identified, they are reported directly through our company to PG&E for final resolution
• Immediate reporting of any hazardous conditions once identified through our Pronto Form application for remediation by utility-trained employees
• Long-term work planning to ensure resources are acquired and available
• Performing thorough and extremely accurate field inspections
• Planning and coordinating inspections for efficiency, safety, and completion, as well as tracking, reporting, and documenting processes to ensure that personal and customer safety

• Effective work planning to ensure prioritization and efficiency
• Confirming locations of natural gas lines and electrical transmission lines
• Measuring and recording soil resistivity in the immediate area of the gas pipeline and electrical tower, tower-to-earth resistance for steel transmission towers, and grounding resistance for wooden poles with grounding wire or guy wire anchors
• Locating and indicating the distance of any ground rods on or near wooded transmission electrical towers
• Measuring and recording AC and DC voltages on the pipeline through test stations or other connections to the pipeline
• All work completion is tracked and documented from the end-to-end process and then communicated to our supervisor and team members to ensure that overall goals are met
