Ryan Ooi

I know that, like the rest of us, we have our own strengths and weaknesses that help and hinder us on our path to success. Whenever I set goals for myself or am given an assignment, I try not only to complete it, but also to understand the material so I will not have trouble with it in the future, and so I can help others around me. I have a very loose schedule, created from having after-school classes that can be easily rearranged. I love to be productive, and I am fueled by the motivation of success. I understand that, as a part of LC, I will be representing not only this club, but also a more prestigious part of this school. This is not something that I will take lightly, as I will definitely act seriously and professionally about the role I will be taking. I know that these are the key reasons I believe will get me into LC and make me a vital part of its community.

Now some of us may do this for the purpose of achievement and others may do it because they feel that it is right. I myself have many reasons being a mixture of both achievement and emotion.  I hope to make connections with faculty members and other students to help me with my future plans. I hope to gain experience from this opportunity and use it for future reference. I want to be more outgoing and immersed within school activities, and to learn more about the insides of the school.
