  • My duties included plasma cutting and welding together floors for 100-3000 bbl oil tanks using GMAW (MIG), Downhand Vertical and overhead (SMAW) on patches and parts for barrels, Horizontal seams using (MIG) while assembling tanks, overhead welding used on minor parts attached to 100-3000 Barrel Oil tanks as well as Angle grinding
  • Maintained safety by wearing protective equipment, staying alert and following procedures.
  • Cut, grinded and bent edges of materials to be joined for snug fit using Angle grinders and hand tools.
  • Bolting up and down flanges for hydro tests and sweeping and maintaining work spaces in between projects
  • I have 400 hours in my blue book, and I’m also trained to use a scissor lift and have my Aerial work platform, Fall protection, H2S Alive, CSTS, First Aid CPR/AED Level C and CSO tickets.
  • Expanded knowledge of fabrication processes through the exposure to diverse tasks throughout the apprenticeship period.
  • Received hands-on training for proper use, maintenance, and trouble shooting problems with welding tools and equipment.
