Work History
MMP2 Manager
Simcoe Parts Service (Honda Canada Manufacturing)
03.2010 - Current
Managing the MMP2 team that delivers all parts from the warehouse to the assembly line for Honda Plant 2. Two shifts mean 2 direct report Supervisors, 12 Team Leaders, and 130 associates.
My previous position was Supervisor of the Inventory control group and due to rapid growth in that department after I left I was given the secondary assignment of Manager of that team as well. (A position that didn't previously exist.)
As Inventory control Supervisor I took on the role of mentor and Supervisor maker. I was given the most promising Team Leaders to train and in 4 years I made 4 of them into highly proficient, skilled Supervisors.
Before joining the Inventory control team I was promoted to be 1 of 2 new Supervisors assigned to the biggest expansion project in the history of the company.
Managed and motivated employees to be productive and engaged in work. < This is a stock question from the resume template I used. But I'm leaving it because the way I do this is one of my greatest strengths. I'm not a hide in an office Manager. I sit on the floor with my team, I'm right there if they need anything, I know their names and kids and work with them side by side. I have a personal relationship with every one of them and that's how I get the most out of them. We're truly One Team - One Goal
