Created for a life in motion with the design philosophy of being environmentally friendly and having diversity and inclusivity with every product made. Forward With Design is being sold in a with affiliation with Sportcheck and Canadian Tire, while also having their own online website.
Focusing on fit, function and fashion they had the opportunity to create their first ever brick and mortar pop-up shop in the fashion distraction of Toronto. Located in Stackt Market, I had the pleasure working with an amazing team!
My duties consists of a multitude of tasks. I would open and close the store by following through with procedures. Cleaning the store in the morning and night, opening and closing the registers, and creating closing reports at the end of the day.
I would also help the team with customer satisfaction by helping customs with their purchases based on their wants and needs, created sales goals, completed transactions via POS systems and analyzing and monitoring sales data reports.
I also managed inventory by creating a way to organize our backroom, in order to maintain cleanliness. Merchandised the store products and store layout, keeping the store looking full and fresh. Trained associates in merchandising and how to fold clothes to keep unison in the store.
The overall experience was exhilarating, especially this being my first role in management. I worked with a group of adventurous, spontaneous and wonderful people. There was never a dull moment with all the events happening within the area!

I had the pleasure of being apart of the flagship team during their busiest time of the year! With it being winter and the holidays guests were consistently buying gifts for themselves, their love ones.
I was responsible for supporting the store in delivering highly engaging customer journeys, helped cement Canada Goose as a luxury performance lifestyle brand. Embodied Canadian Warmth, demonstrated expertise in every recommendation and conveyed warmth in each interaction, helping bring the guest journey to life. I consistently operated at the highest level, always demonstrating a passion for my clients.
I was hired as a seasonal cashier. I helped customers complete their purchasing using the POS system, suggested accessories, made customer aware of seasonal policies and warranties of their jackets and gift wrapped any presents for their love ones. As I continued to flourish, I was later trained in operations, as a greeter and for the sales team. I mainly was placed within the sales and cashier teams as I worked as a brand ambassador for Canada Goose.
While working with the sales team, I helped increase profit revenue by contributing to team success! I assisted my clients with their purchases by filtering through their wants and needs. DAG (Downtown AutoGroup) is a collection of 10 automobile sales and service facilities representing 12 of the most respected brands in the automotive world. Within this company I was hired as a sales and leasing consultant for the Nissan brand.
During the time of studying and training to gain my OMVIC license, I also assisted in being an alternate receptionist for the dealership. Greeting customers, taking phone calls, creating appointments, adhering to paperwork and maintaining dealership cleanliness.
Upon gaining my license, I assisted customers in their automotive purchases. The process is crucial and extensive, as I wanted to ensure that my clients investments were truly the perfect decision for them. In doing so, I helped decipher between customer wants and needs in order to narrow down and discover the ideal vehicle for their lifestyle and daily commutes. I provided full satisfactory customer experiences by helping my clients with their research based on their interests. Ensuring a full understanding of the make and models of the vehicles. I would also book appointments for test drives and vehicle presentations for my clients to have an immersive experience in discovering their perfect vehicle. Once I exceed expectations on their vehicle decision, I coordinated a financial plan that was suited to my client situations. Then finally when everything was completed and my clients had picked up their vehicle, I would always check-in on them and their purchases. Seeing if they had any issues and how I could resolve them or additionally if they wanted to catch up and let me know of their experiences with their new vehicle.
I followed the full experience of purchasing a vehicle with the customers with extraordinary attention to details. Whether it be a for new vehicle, a used vehicle or even for future planning purposes. I ensure peace of mind in their investments for themselves, their families and friends alike!

Their vision is to provide an amazing in store experience for customers to see and shop though a luxurious, exclusive and accessible collection of high-quality sneakers, streetwear and collaborations. From limited edition kicks and concert merchandise to unique art figures. Clients can create a complete outfits for themselves and others; while also finding an extravagant piece for their homes.
Everyday was a new experience with my clients! From educating them on market price of the products to being able to find that perfect gift for that special someone. I enjoyed being apart of the community and the brand. It's environment was fast-paced, family oriented and focused on achieving goals as a team. Additionally, my passion for sneakers correlated with customers love for the culture and overall created an amazing atmosphere to be around!
I was hired as a sales associate and trained in multiple sections of the store. I would greet customers to ensure a welcoming experience and proactively approached customers by helping with their purchases and deciphering between their wants and needs. I would also suggest options based on their interests, offered the latest releases and most sought-out products. I provided new clients with a full introduction to what the store is and informed them about the history and details of products. Offering satisfactory solutions to any issues that arose and offered a seamless high caliber customer experience.
I was also a cashier and operated POS systems assisting in store customers with their purchases and managers with online orders when needed. Furthermore, I was apart of the stock and merchandising teams. I helped organized the stockroom, cleaned and replenished shelves and racks alike. When new inventory arrived or even when the store was looking a little vacant, I did visual merchandising to enhance customer conversion rates.
Within Yorkdale mall the Vans 3.0 concept store was created. This flagship Vans location took ideas and creations from its previous stores to have a new and elevated look! Vans has a rich brand history from creating rubber to sneakers and becoming known for skateboarders. Today, they are emerging as a leading action sports brand selling more than merchandise for skateboarders. Vans is filled with culture, influence and family orientation.
At this location I was trained as a sales associate, greeter and cashier. I welcomed customers to the store and ensured they had a great experience by answering any questions they had about the merchandise. I showcased extensive product knowledge to clients, creating add-ons to purchases and overall allowing myself to become a leading sales associate. I took initiative in visually merchandising the store. When we didn't have products that were showcased from the marketing team, I would revamp the storefront and create new displays for the season. I also processed POS transactions with multiple customers keeping them updated on store policies and incoming events. Not only was I apart of the sales team, but I was trained to be on the stock team as well. This allowed me to receive new merchandise, organize the backroom and make it easier for other associates to grab products for their customers. Later on, I was trained in management. Although, I didn't become apart the management team. I was still able to process returns and exchanges without supervision and trained multiple new associates who joined the Vans family. Ensuring everyone collaborated in achieving monthly team goals!
During COVID transitions everyone had to switch to an at home workplace environment or a hybrid setting. With this position I worked from home and was given the opportunity to be a part of the Anomaly team as an Account Intern. The team introduced me to their Bud Light client. I worked with a group of compassionate associates and was able to collaborate on multiple campaigns. Some include the Bud Light Pride Parade, A Seltzy Campaign, A Smooth Smooth Summer Campaign and many other projects.
As an intern I provided support throughout various stages of each campaign and promotional activities. This includes, but are not limited to finding the right figures for the campaigns, conducting meetings for clients, taking notes for new projects, strategizing to create optimal results and ensuring each department was on track for their project deadlines. Although my time was short lived, the opportunities were extensive. I had a great learning experience as to what this position entailed and how the industry adapts to what the world had to offer.
Within Toronto's "Centre of Style," Yorkdale Mall I had the opportunity to work at Michael Kors. This location is Canada's 1st Michael Kors flagship store, the 1st standalone location in Canada to feature the luxury-priced women’s Michael Kors Collections, and the 2nd standalone store in Canada to have a men's selection. I worked along side an amazing team to create the unveiling of this location. Whether you were looking for a statement piece, off the runway works, ready-to-wear fashion apparel or accessories this was the location for you!
The holidays create a high volume, busy and fast pace environment. As a seasonal associate I worked as a greeter, sales associate, stock representative, and cashier. I created a welcoming atmosphere, while clients entered the establishment. Assisting them with any concerns they may have and ensuring all questions were answered. I enhanced client product awareness, maintained stock inventory, kept a clean work environment and processed POS transactions. Ensuring that all clients understood the new holiday season policies.
Lawrence Plaza is a fruitful and welcoming neighbourhood! With a pleasant community surrounding, this surprisingly busy environment always leaves you entertained. Our Second Cup customers come from all walks of life and many of them are regulars of the store. Our regular clients find comfort in the welcoming atmosphere; while the students and business colleagues that visit enjoy the peaceful environment to study and plan with their associates.
As a barista, I had memorized every regular clients order to their liking. This ensured that their experiences stay amazing as aways. I would also describe menu items, give recommendations to multiple customers based on their interests and have entertaining conversations with those who were ready for a story. I created and served hot and cold drinks such as coffee, tea, artisan and specialty beverages. Likewise, I would prepare food ranging from a variety of sandwiches and baked goods such as cookies and cakes.
From the espresso bar, I greeted customers and created a welcoming atmosphere within the café. Not only was I a barista, but I was also a cashier. I would serve customers, take orders, and operate the POS system to process customer payments. I consistently maintained café cleanliness by cleaning tables, the espresso bar, stock room, floors, washrooms and removing any garbage from the restaurant.
Branched off from TJX, I had the opportunity to work at Winners and Homesense. In the core of Downtown Toronto the Bloor Street location had plenty of clientele creating a constant, busy and fast-paced environment. I started out as a co-op student during high school and later on was hired after showcasing excellent customer service and hospitality skills.
I worked in multiple departments within both stores including, but not limited to furniture, accessories, clothing, kitchen utilities, and the stock department. My tasks consist of greeting customers entering the store, answering any questions or concerns that they had, merchandising and creating displays, and security tagging products. I processed point-of-sale purchases, educated customers on products, maintained cleanliness in all sections I was assigned to and overall created a welcoming atmosphere for both my customers and co-workers alike!
