Hello, my name is Ruthie Sarah Kang, a fourth-year student in Psychobiology at UCLA, with a strong commitment to holistic, client-centered care and aspirations to become a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC). I am passionate about the intersection of medicine and psychology, hoping to focus on serving my local and online communities, particularly high school and college students. Eager to leverage future therapy training to provide support in underserved areas through medical missions while actively building leadership skills by mentoring younger women in my campus Christian Fellowship. Committed to encouraging the destigmization of mental health, especially in the Asian-American youth, and empowering peers to navigate the complexities of life, education, and emerging adulthood through therapeutic practices.
