  • Develop and administer the Fire Authority budget; direct the forecast of additional funds needed for staffing, equipment, materials, and supplies; direct the monitoring of and approve expenditures; direct the preparation of and implement budgetary adjustments as necessary.
  • Act as an information source to residents, businesses, department, City and Town staff, developers and contractors; speak to groups on fire safety, disaster preparedness and other department functions; answer complaints.
