Ruben Guerra

My name is Ruben Guerra and I am 21 soon to be 22 in April. I had recently just got approved and received for my first work permit in February of 2026. I didn’t have one before due to being born in Mexico and being brought here at the age of one. I have worked in two family owned business for the last seven years and it’s where I have learned everything I know from scratch without studying any trades beforehand. My restaurant job had made me quite well at communication, team work And organization. My machine shop job is where I got to learn various different trades and branches of the machinist world but also had tasks that involved a lot of paperwork and organization. Due to me now having a work permit now it has opened the doors up for me and I can officially go peruse a job that i know I want to be in and not a job I have to be in. I love trying new things and am looking for a job that involves more social activity and not feel so isolated from interacting with others. I am planning to enroll myself in film school in August but want to get a job in this industry so I can get a taste of what it’s like to be in that environment. I’m very ambitious about this line of work and am looking forward to learning new things from what ever is this job can provide for me. I have a very high tolerance and good attitude for jobs and environments that only require the best of their workers.
