• Perform comprehensive head-to-toe assessments and obtain accurate vital signs
• Administer medications and participate in medication passes under RN supervision, following the 6 rights of medication administration
• Assist with IV initiation, IV maintenance, and monitoring for complications
• Monitor cardiac rhythms, interpret basic telemetry strips, and report abnormalities promptly
• Provide trauma and emergency care support, including rapid assessment and prioritization of care
• Deliver compassionate psychiatric care using therapeutic communication and de-escalation techniques
• Provide pediatric and neonatal care, including feeding support, safety monitoring, and family education
• Assist with labor, delivery, and postpartum care, including maternal assessments and newborn care
• Perform pre-operative and post-operative patient care and monitoring
• Support patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), mobility, hygiene, and comfort measures
• Implement infection control practices and proper use of PPE
• Accurately document patient care and maintain strict compliance with HIPAA standards
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure safe, coordinated care
