My name is Roman Ragsdale, and I am currently a junior at California State University, Northridge, pursuing a major in Psychology with a minor in Spanish. I have actively participated in campus and system-wide programs, including serving as an Orientation Leader through CSU Associated Students, where I supported incoming freshmen and transfer students from across the state, the nation, and internationally.

I am also a participant in the CSU International Programs and had the opportunity to study abroad in Granada, Spain. During this experience, I not only advanced my proficiency in Spanish, but also gained valuable insight into Spanish culture, lifestyle, and political systems. Additionally, I traveled to six other countries within the same semester, which further expanded my understanding of international affairs.

Academically, I am currently working on a thesis project focused on intergenerational relationships, exploring the social dynamics between youth and the elderly and how these relationships influence the concept of successful aging. Looking ahead, I am pursuing internship opportunities with the Department of Justice or the FBI as I work toward a long-term career in federal service.
