I have worked on multiple green-field and brown-field oil and gas projects closely with a Senior Process Engineer and as process lead. Some of the key projects I have worked on so far:

  • Designed a $250M storage and pumping station and taken the project from pre-FEED to the HAZOP stage as lead process. Involved in all interdisciplinary items and managed a team of 4 process engineers on the project.
  • Attended and actively participated in multiple HAZOPs and implemented the action items to improve the process safety.
  • Proficient in pump sizing and design, flare system sizing and design and general process codes and specifications.
  • Simulated all process withing a pumping facility, including metering, storage, booster and main pumps and blending of products. Also simulated the entire pipeline hydraulics over 400km of pipeline with multiple booster pump stations.
  • Conducted Green House Gas and sustainability studies on gas turbines and their effect on their environment.
  • Conducted studies for blending of crude oil and effect of temperature on crude oil pumping.
  • Worked on project safety reviews for a third-party project and calculated to verify safety valve sizing.
  • Worked on multiple Operations and Maintenance projects requiring problem solving in a quick and cost-effective manner.

  • Conducted an As-Built field study for NorthRiver Midstream’s McMahon Gas Plant in Fort St. John with a team of senior process engineers and pipeline designers. Familiarized with gas plant layouts and gas processing techniques and equipment.
  • Designed multiple fuel gas and instrument air systems for existing Encana gas plants including sizing and pipeline routing.
  • Generated complete linelists for multiple Encana projects including sizing, wall thickness and overpressure protection.
  • Conducted study on multiple air dispersion modelling software to determine most suitable for requirements.
  • Sized separators and tanks for various commodities for Encana’s North Central Liquids Hub project.
  • Completed Leave To Open for Encana’s North Central Liquids Hub involving thousands of factory test reports of various tests for each piece of equipment. Very familiar with Hardness/Radio/Material tests and requirements and isometrics.

  • Worked on vehicle - pipeline crossings and developed an Excel tool to determine Hoop stress and the ovality experienced by pipelines under various crossing scenarios.
  • Worked with Corrosion Specialist to conduct 20 risk assessments on pipelines; graphically interpreting In-line Inspection data and co-relating the data, graphs, lab reports and various operating properties (flow regime, operating conditions, water chemistry and yearly pigging, chemical inhibition and CP records) to various causes of metal loss in pipelines.
  • Contributed on Pipeline Failure and subsequent Fitness for Service Analysis by analyzing remaining life based on changes in In-line Inspection data, focusing on areas with river crossings; bend diameter strain analysis and dig sheet verification of repairs done on the pipeline.
  • Gave term end presentation focusing on the risk assessments project to the Pipeline Integrity department.
