My name is Rogers Nkalubo.Am a painter,which profession I have done for over 20 years. I have operated locally with in Uganda painting both small and big buildings both interior and on exterior surfaces. It's surely an exciting profession dealing with different paint grades or bases which all re-act in different

ways depending on the surfaces being applied to. When I talk colour mixing is also another adventure how many colours one can get from mixing the three primary colours with additional amounts of white and black colours in it.

In my painting carrier I have also incorporated painting furniture and motor surfaces with mainly high concentration automotive paints using power sprayers.

I have used ladders and scaffolding to reach surfaces to be painted as a measure of hight safety to prevent falls. In the process of surfaces preparation,I have used scrapers,sanding papper,dents filler,tapes and more other materials. For paint application usually I use paint rollers,brushes,sponges and spray guns.I have always used protective gear like safe masks, gloves etc for body protection from toxic fumes in paints.My major achievement I have been able to set up a wood and metal fabrication work shop with a lot of tools which has expanded on my work skills from only painting. Financially it has also sustained my family for all the years of my practice to date.Also I have been blessed to train and work with young people in my home community which has given them an income but also skills.
