I am a Project Engineer for the 405 Multi Asset Design Build. My scope is Earthwork, which includes:

• Developing the material flow sheet to help the project understand the movement of dirt, base, and spoils.
• Reading plans, specifications, and standards
• Subcontractor management
• Cost tracking of labor, equipment, and material
• Work planning and scheduling

Prior to my current role, I was a Project Engineer working in the Estimating Department. In this Position:

• I assisted the Estimating Department in pursuing projects, including 33 bid builds, 3 CMGCs, and 2 design builds. The list of clients included Caltrans, Metro, US Navy, Cities, and private design firms.
• I estimated scopes such as Drainage, Earthwork, MOT, Pavement, Demolition, Landscaping, and Erosion Control.
• I lead the sub solicitation effort on many occasions in order to receive pricing in a timely manner.
• I worked with 3rd party groups in order to validate quantities for multiple projects. One example is the San Luis Obispo 46 CMGC Project.

I was a Summer Associate on the I-15 Limonite Project. My Roles included:

• Paperwork
• Updating tracking logs
• Shadowing field engineers and assisting as needed
