Assist in monitoring of Backfill focus on dewatering activities and the environmental sediment settling concerns. Water course reconstruction according to Coastal Gas specifications.
-Operate Side-boom equipment for stringing, bending, setting in, lowering and tie-ins of multiple sizes of steel pipe in a common excavation ditch
-Inspect and correct equipment deficiencies for efficient daily use
-Participate in Daily Tail gate meetings
-Communicate effectively with co workers in congested conditions
Monitor line locating during contractor and third party activities -Monitor Lowering in and Holiday detection Monitor excavations and day lighting for line location and seam orientation
Monitor application of protective covering and membrane before lowering in
Place minimal environmental disturbance swamp mats in sensitive soil locations
Read and interpret civil drawings for ground disturbance excavation purposes
Issue Safe Work and Ground Disturbance Permits for daily work activities
Monitor endangered species and species at risk as pipeline activities proceed
Ensure excavation side wall slopes with safety exits
Helicopter moves during Geo Technical soil analysis
Load and off load trailers of supplies
Arctic supply plane load and off load
Snow removal and or leveling
Spreading sub soil and top soil
Ripping soil in frozen soil conditions
Diamond Drill assistant remove N.Q 2 core samples, maintain drill operations
