  • Operation of a 500 MW coal-fired power generating station, which includes a sub-critical pressure boiler, flue gas de-sulphurization, precipitator, and auxiliaries. Control room operator and field duties of automated controls and associated equipment. Remote operation of five 100 MW, GT-11N gas turbines. Lockout-tagout, GS-050 duties, and work control functions regarding work permit procedures and execution, including Shutdown Block Permit coordination. I also perform the role of acting Shift Supervisor when required, including the controlling authority of the site. This would include all roles and responsibilities of the position. Providing training to new operators, with a strong safety culture foremost.
